What you can expect from Amashusho, and what we expect from you.
Last reviewed August 2026
This page describes, in plain language, how Amashusho actually works today. The formal legal text is still with counsel and will replace this before the platform takes payments at scale. Where the two ever differ, the formal text governs.
Your account
- You sign in with your phone number. Keep it, and the codes we send to it, to yourself — anyone with both can watch as you.
- One account is for one household. Stream limits depend on your plan and are shown on your account page.
- You must be 18 to buy anything. Younger viewers can watch free content, and profiles carry age ratings.
What you are buying
- A rental gives you 30 days to press play and 48 hours to finish once you do. The clock starts when you start watching, not when you pay.
- A purchase gives you access for as long as Amashusho holds the rights to that title. If a licence ends, we will tell you and refund a fair share.
- A ticket gives you the live event and the replay for seven days afterwards.
- A plan gives you the titles marked as included, for as long as it is active. What is included can change as licences come and go.
You are buying access, not the video itself. You may not record, re-upload, re-stream or publicly show anything from Amashusho without the rights holder’s permission.
Refunds
- If a live event is cancelled or never starts, ticket holders are refunded in full, automatically.
- If a live event fails badly enough that it could not reasonably be watched, ticket holders are refunded.
- If a title will not play for you and we cannot fix it, you get your money back.
- If you bought something and never started watching it, write to us within seven days.
- We do not refund because you did not enjoy it. Nobody does.
Where titles are available
Rights are territorial: a rights holder decides which countries a title can be shown in, and we enforce that. Using a VPN to get around it breaches these terms, and it takes money away from the people who made the thing you are trying to watch.
What we ask you not to do
- Share your account beyond your household, or sell access to it.
- Try to capture, decrypt or redistribute video.
- Scrape the catalogue or automate playback.
- Post anything in comments or chat that is illegal, hateful, or someone else’s private information.
We suspend accounts for these, and we will refund anything unwatched when we do.
What we do not promise
Amashusho depends on your internet connection, your device and, for live events, on an organiser’s equipment in a stadium. We work hard on the parts we control and are honest about the parts we do not. Nothing here is available every second of every day.
If something changes
We will tell you before these terms change in a way that affects what you have already paid for. Everything else — new features, new sections, new plans — simply appears.
Questions go to our team.
